About Us
Kern Construction Inc is a state licensed contractor that serves Anna Maria Island by providing local experience and professional results. Kern Construction is a locally owned company run by the two Kern brothers (Mike and Jerry) and their lifelong friend Jim Moss. The guys grew up together in the area, attending Anna Maria Elementary School and exploring the island as little boys.
The Kern brothers took over the family business by following in their father's footsteps in becoming master carpenters and have grown the business to include 12 long-term employees to handle the entirety of any project. Proud of their Anna Maria Island roots, Kern Construction use local architects and engineers on all their projects.
